The Next Step and some tips to keep one step ahead

Guest Lecture at Woburn Collegiate Institute
Toronto, Canada

The set of skills that make a student successful in high school are not necessarily the same as those needed in university. There are a host of different resources available to students, which may not be anticipated. Moreover, there are several new challenges, protocols, and opportunities as well, all of which can come together as a stark contrast of environments to the uninitated. In this talk I give an overview on strategies for a successful transition to university, outlining the likely challenges across immediate and long-term timescales, and structured for an audience of graduating highschool students.
